Spring Edibles Hike

HERPTILES IN THE KICKAPOO VALLEY - Jeff Lorch, UW-Madison researcher, will discuss reptiles and amphibians on the Reserve in another Driftless Dialogue program to be held at the Reserve Visitor Center on Wednesday, May 16. Socializing and refreshments begin at 6:30 pm with the program to follow at 7. This program is FREE and open to the public.



BIRDS & BRUNCH - Join local noted bird spotters Barbara Duerksen and Kelly Rueckheim for a morning bird hike on the Reserve, checking the spring migratory birds in the Kickapoo Valley. After the hike, your appetite will be treated to locally prepared seasonal foods in a delicious brunch. All this for only $10/$9 for KVR FRIENDS. SPRING EDIBLE HIKE! - On Saturday, May 26th, Nicholas Gale will be leading hungry participants on a Spring Edible Hike on the Reserve. Munch your way through the woods as you taste Nature's secret bounty of foods for us all. Bring some eating gear and a food to contribute to the noon meal. Hike begins at 9 am and concludes at 2:30. Dress for the season - cost is $15/$13.50 for FRIENDS - call 608 625-2960 to register as space for the hike is limited.
